Arsenal are reportedly interested in Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic.

Arsene Wenger is looking to bring in a new striker this month, and Jelvaic has recently emerged as a likely target.

The 26-year-old has been in top form for Rangers recently, and has caught the eye of many top clubs.

Arsenal are currently lacking in the striking department, and Arsene Wenger is reportedly chasing a new striker who can help Robin Van Persie bang in the goals.

Ok, so the Gunners have just re-signed club legend Thierry Henry on a two month loan deal, however, once he heads back to America the Gunners will really be struggling for goalscorers.

Jelavic joined Rangers in 2010, and has since gone on to make 43 appearances for the Glasgow giants scoring 28 goals. The blues currently rate their striker at around £8m, which I personally feel is a very reasonable price for a player who can offer so much attacking wise.

Rangers will be reluctant to let their star striker leave, however if a bid of £8m comes in for him, they will probably have to accept.
