Liverpool interested in 15-year-old FC Basle striker Nicholas Hunziker

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is interested in 15-year-old FC Basle striker Nicholas Hunziker.

The Daily Mail says:

“Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is hot on the trail of 15-year-old FC Basle striker Nicholas Hunziker. Hunziker bagged a hat-trick for his country’s youth team on his debut and the Anfield club now believe they have seen enough to warrant making the Swiss club an offer”.

It is great to see that Liverpool are looking to bring in young players. 15 is still a very young age and it would be great to see a player as young as 15 make an appearance in the Premier League. Hunziker is a fantastic young talent and if Liverpol can snap him up, it will be a fantastic signing for them.

Last week we heard that Manchester United were interested in signing 15-year-old Andreas Pereira and later on in the week it was confirmed that he will sign for the Red devils in January. This just proves how big Premier League clubs are now looking towards the younger generation of football and I can’t wait to think where English football will be in 3 or 4 years.
