Real Madrid target Man City star David Silva

David Silva could be a summer transfer target for Real Madrid. The Spaniard has been linked with a return to his home country after playing a starring role in the Premier League so far this season.
Silva’s form has helped Manchester City to the top of the Premier League table and the attacking midfielder has arguably been the best player on display in the English game so far this season.
This exquisite form has alerted the Spanish giants who are now preparing a £30 million offer to test City’s resolve. Real have had their eye on the player ever since his move from Valencia two years ago, but they chose not to make a move at that particular time for reasons unknown.
Silva may fancy a move to the Bernabeu and a return to La Liga to help develop his career at international level, as his position in the national side is never a certainty given the number of quality players Spain have available to them.
Losing Silva would certainly be a huge blow to City and boss Roberto Mancini as the £24 million signing is a huge fans favourite at the Etihad Stadium. The player says he is certain City will win the Premier League title this season and this could well tempt him to stay in England, with the chance of success very high at Manchester City over the next few years.
